Wenda Kay Patrick, 74, of Freemont, N.C., formerly of Titusville, Fla., and Masury, Ohio, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C.

Wenda was born Sept. 4, 1949, in Sharon, a daughter of Lawrence and Katherine Jones Pavone.

She was a 1967 graduate of Brookfield High School.

Wenda had worked at Trumbull County Nursing Home in Brookfield, Ohio, and Concordia Home Health in Cabot, Pa.

She was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Titusville, Fla., and a former member of Masury United Methodist Church.

Wenda will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her husband, Joseph Patrick, whom she married June 3, 1978; her children, Nancy J. (Edward) Czuba, of Wake Forest, N.C., Denise M. Patrick (Rob Morris) of Middlesex, N.J., Joseph (Josephine) Patrick of Bridgewater, N.J.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Larry (Donna Croftcheck) Pavone of Hubbard and Richard (Sherry Vaso) Pavone of Brookfield; niece, Kelly (Matthew) Vogelpohl; and nephews, Kristopher (Rachael) Pavone, Brandon Pavone, and Brent Pavone.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Joseph and Janet May Lichanec Patrick.
