Sharpsville, PA - Thomas Novelli, 71, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in his home.

Thomas was born on Sept. 13, 1953, in Sharon to Marianne (Fortuna) and Roger R. Novelli.

He was a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School and continued his education at Youngstown State University, where he earned a degree in computer science with a minor in accounting.

Thomas held several positions after graduating, but he ended his career as bench operator at Sharon Tube.

On Nov. 17, 1973, he married Carol R. Bucciarelli, who survives at their home.

Thomas enjoyed several hobbies through the years. He loved watching Mecum and Barrett Jackson car auctions.

Some of his favorites included music, cigars, pool leagues, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

He loved to cook and grill. He was also very active with his children's and grandchildren's sports.

Thomas is survived by his wife; sons Jason Thomas (Gabby) Novelli of Houston, Texas; and Jonathan Novelli of Sharpsville; a brother, Mark (Margaret) Novelli of Masury, Ohio; sisters Nancy (Regin) Schlachet of Moreland Hills, Ohio; and Marianne (Brien) Bell of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Kathryn (Marty) Fortuna of Hermitage; grandchildren Jeremy Thomas (fiancée Marley Blair) and Julianna Elaine Novelli; a great-granddaughter, Vivian J. Novelli, all of Sharpsville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Roger A. Novelli; and in-laws Sam and June (Livingston) Bucciarelli.

The family would like to extend a very special "thank you" to Sabrina, along with Helping Hands Home Health staff, especially Heidi and Ashley who gave him the most wonderful care in the past several weeks.

Mass of Christian burial: 12:30 p.m. Friday (8-1-25) in St. Joseph's Church, Sharon, with Father James Power officiating.
