Stephen E. Duchien Obituary

Stephen E. Duchien Sr., of Hubbard, passed away Thursday April 7, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House. He was 60.

Stephen was born July 31, 195,5 in Colfax, Calif., a son of Neil and Myrna Kauffman Duchien.

Stephen worked at a tire company in Warren and later was a janitor for Burdman Group.

He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Church of God, and enjoyed computers and connecting with people on facebook.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Karmelita Sop, whom he married May 16, 2004; his mother, Myrna (Larry) Long of Oregon; his children, Stephen E. (Alexis Wacht) Duchien Jr. of Youngstown; Sharon (Chris Burks) Burks-Cassinelli of Fort Worth,Texas; and five grandchildren.

He also leaves his siblings Diane (Brett) Sunken of Antelope, Calif.; Jeanie (Jim) Donavon of Grass Valley, Calif.; and step-brothers, Wesley (Karleen) Duchien of Folsom, Calif.; and Joseph Setzer of Springfield, Mo.

His father preceded him in death.

Calling hours: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday (4-15-16) at Chestnut Ridge Church of God.

Service: 11 a.m. Friday (4-15-16) in the church.
