Sonia "Sunny" Dubosh Young, 76, of Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Shenango Township passed away at home, Feb. 11, 2025.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, Jan. 21, 1949, to the late John and Olga Dubosh.
On Jan. 29, 1972, she married Phillip Frank Young, who survives.
Mrs. Young worked for the Trumbull County Department of Human Services as a caseworker.
She also worked for Scope Inc. of Warren, Ohio.
A graduate of Campbell Memorial, she earned her BS and her Master's degrees from Youngstown State University.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip, of the residence.
In addition to her parents, Sonia is preceded in death by their son, Isaac Young.

Calling hours: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday (2-16-25) at Lebanon Presbyterian Church 2090, Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Mercer.
Service: 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church with Rev. August Hurst officiating.
Interment: Lebanon Cemetery.
