Shirley L. Cline Obituary

Sharon - Shirley L. Cline, Sharon, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 21, 2025, in Jameson Nursing and Rehab, New Castle. She was 93.

Shirley was born April 12, 1932, in Wheatland, a daughter of Joseph H. Cline, Sr. and Marie (Kelly) Cline. She attended Sharon schools.

Shirley worked as a police officer for the City of Sharon, retiring after 28 years of service. During retirement, she worked as a baker for Giant Eagle, Brookfield, Ohio.

Shirley was a lifelong member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by several nieces and a nephew.

Besides her parents, Shirely was preceded in death by four sisters, Leona Strauss (Glenn), Hazel Gilliland (William), Margie Jones (Jack), and Helen McLaren (Robert); and two brothers, Lawrence Cline and Joseph Cline Jr.
