Hermitage - Sherri L. Faulconbridge, the daughter of George W. and Florence Powell, passed peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, with her family surrounding her.

She was born June 24, in Sharon as the second eldest of five children, all of whom predeceased her. She loved her grandchildren and moved back to the Shenango Valley in 2012 from Lake Latonka so she wouldn't miss any of their activities.

She loved children of all ages but especially teenagers. She served God by working with the teens as Sunday School teacher and Youth Group leader at Bethany Church, Mercer, for 20 years. She went on missions trips to Raynosa, Mexico, to build homes and spread the word of God and to Circleville, W. Va., to teach Bible School. She served on the Elder Boards of Bethany Church and the Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex for 20 years, as well as serving as head of Christian Education, and on outreach and various other committees.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Faulconbridge, whom she married July 2, 1975, one son, Ron McCall and his wife, Brenda; and their three children, being very proud of all of them.

She was predeceased by her eldest son, Don McCall. Sherri worked for Sears Roebuck for 29 years in many management positions and after retirement worked for Breese Heating & Cooling.

In lieu of flowers, please do something nice for someone in her memory, keeping it between you and God to spread her love throughout the community and back to you. Other than her love of God and her family, Sherri loved trips to the ocean and enjoyed Ocean City, Virginia Beach and Kiawah Island.

Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (5-14-25) at THE SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, at The Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex, with Rev. Mark Almlie officiating.

Interment: Will immediately follow at Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex.
