Sandra Noreen Warchol Obituary

Greenville, PA - Sandra Noreen (Smith) Warchol, 85, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Mrs. Warchol was born on Sept. 28, 1940, in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Melva (Klink) Smith and was a 1958 graduate of Union High School, Burgettstown.

On April 13, 1963, she married the love of her life, David M. Warchol Sr., who took exceptional loving care of her at home during her extended illness.

Sandra was a dedicated homemaker, caring for her husband, two children and three granddaughters.

Sandra was a member of the Gentle Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, Hermitage.

She is survived by her husband; a son, David M. (Geri) Warchol Jr., of Hermitage; a daughter, Sheryl Warchol, of Greenville; three granddaughters, Nicole, Jennifer and Cassandra Warchol, of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Dolly Smith, of Burgettstown; two brothers-in-law, Don (Kathy) Warchol, of Hermitage, and Gary (Betty) Warchol, of Florida; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only brother, David P. Smith Sr. and his son, David P. Smith, Jr.

Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Gentle Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 3480 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, PA 16148.

Funeral service: Noon Saturday in the funeral home, with Rev. Brian Burke officiating.

Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
