Greenville, PA - Sandra J. Beckman, 88, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 13, 2025, in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

She was born on Jan. 5, 1937, in Greenville, to Glenn E. and Bertha I. (Webber) Beckman. Sandy was a 1954 graduate of Penn High School.

She retired from Greenville Area School District in 1999 following 45 years of employment as a secretary to the superintendent and as a special-education instructional assistant.

Sandy was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Greenville. and attended Center Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock, where she was a member of the choir.

She was also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and the Mercer County Association of School Retirees.

Sandy served as secretary for the Greenville Community Concert Association for 15 years and as the recording secretary for the Greenville High School Alumni Association for 10 years.

She enjoyed all kinds of music and attending concerts.

Sandy is survived by a sister, Patricia Stearns of Greenville; five nephews; two nieces; 15 grandnephews and grandnieces; and 10 great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Jane Edwards; and two brothers-in-law, Frank B. Stearns and Herbert J. Edwards.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with Rev. William C. Mumaw II, pastor of Center Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock, officiating.

Burial: Shenango Valley Cemetery.
