McMinnville, Oregon - Samuel N. Ross died peacefully, in McMinnville Oregon, on October 25, 2024, with his son at his side. He was 99 years old—-a beloved father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Samuel is survived by his daughter Joanne R. Williams, her husband George, their three children and seven grandchildren, his daughter Leslie Ross-Degnan, her husband Dennis , their two children and one grandchild, and his son Samuel J Ross, his wife Nancy, their four daughters and five grandchildren.
Sam was a joyful person who was quick to laugh, never missed a meal, beat us all at cards, and was a true-blue football fan. He will be deeply missed, and remembered by every life he touched.
A memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial, Hermitage, Pa., August 2, 2025.
