Samuel Robert Colpetzer, Laver Road, Greenville (Perry Twp.) passed away early Friday morning, August 27, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 47.
He was born in Tyrone, PA on May 6, 1974, a son of Thomas Arthur and Karen Louise (Manges) Colpetzer. Sam was a 1992 graduate of the Lawrence County Vo Tech where he studied diesel mechanics. He possessed a special skill and knowledge that allowed him to fix most anything and was often able to be a problem solver when others were not able to find a resolution. He was a life long dairy farmer and most recently had been employed by CY Construction, Fredonia. He enjoyed the companionship of his dog "Scruffy" and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
He is survived by his father, Thomas A. (Amy) Colpetzer, Greenville; his mother, Karen L. (Joel) Roberts, Titusville; his siblings, Wendy (Jason) McCullough, Bicknell, IN., Angie (Caleb) Cooper, Slippery Rock, Sally Oakes, Jackson Center and George Colpetzer, Greenville.
VISITATION: Tuesday, (08/31/21), from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
FUNERAL SERVICE: in the funeral home, Tuesday, (08/31/21) at 7:00 pm
INTERMENT: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
