Sallie Ann Dunn, 91, of Hermitage, passed on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, with family by her side.

Sallie was born in Sharon, on July 14, 1933, to the late Michael Burnace and Sophia Skrtich Burnace. She married Paul Anthony Dunn on May 15, 1954, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2012.

Sallie was a Sharon High School graduate. After graduation, she worked several office administrative jobs. Most recently, Sallie worked as an office administrator for over 20 years at Valley Plumbing until her retirement in 2014.

Sallie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, car rides and her weekly hair appointments. She was an avid reader and enjoyed word-search puzzles as well as crocheting and watching hallmark movies. She loved kids and enjoyed watching and interacting with them.

She was interested in learning new things and had a "love/hate" relationship with her cell phone, iPad and Google home assistant.

Survivors include daughters, Bonnie (Ken) Alley of Chillcothe, Ohio, Laurie Dunn of Mentor, Ohio, Anne (Randall) Sherman of Clinton, Miss.; daughter-in-law Melissa Dunn of Hermitage; Sister of the Heart, Carol Phillips of Farrell; granddaughters, Erin (Jeremy) Phillips of Kingston, Ohio, Rae Lynn (Tim) Helton and Makenna Alley of Chillcothe, Ohio; and four great-grandsons, Brayden and Blake Phillips, Gavin and Cameron Waller.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Dunn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or UPMC Hospice.

A Celebration of Life tentatively will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Central Christian Church, 218 Meadowbrook Road, Hermitage, with time to be announced.

Arrangements by the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, West Middlesex.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
