Ruth Elda Hall, Fredonia, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, following a courageous battle with heart disease. She was 89.

Born June 5, 1935, in Transfer, she was a daughter of Carl and Elda (Stull) Winner.

She spent her entire life dedicated to her surviving family members, husband Thomas W. Hall, Fredonia, and her two daughters, Barbara Hall Brooks, Warren, Ohio, and Sandra Hall Antus and her husband Richard, Hermitage.

Ruth was an amazing wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

Ruth was never happier than when she was adding new grandchildren and great-grandchildren to her family. Also surviving are granddaughter Michelle Jones, Erie, and her children, KiJanna, Keyanna, Marquis, and Mason; grandson Daniel Blair, Warren, Ohio, and his daughter, Maria, step-grandson, Travis Brooks, Lexington, Ky., and his children, Brayden, Charleigh, and Adeline Rose, stepdaughter, Heather Brooks, Warren, Ohio, and her children, Trinity, Aminata and Isaiah and granddaughter, Justine Cowatch, Rodgers, Ohio, and her children, Jobeee, Jaiden, Jace and Jaxon, granddaughter Candi Switalski, Cleveland, Ohio, and granddaughter, Katie Antus, Hermitage.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Derwood "Buddy" Davis, Clarion, Jeffrey Baker, Hermitage, and his children, Linda Patridge, Jamestown, and her daughter, and nephew, William "Billy" Winner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Dorothy Butterfield, Mary Ryhal, and Rachel Brown, two brothers, Carl Jr. and Jonny Winner, and nieces, Judy Ryhal and Diane Brown.

Ruth's kind spirit, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends who knew her.
