Grove City, Pa. - Roxanna Olive Bell "Roxie" Schaefer, 64, of Grove City, passed away Friday evening, Nov. 28, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.

Roxie was born in Ellwood City on Aug. 16, 1961, to Philip William and Doris Darlene (Stoops) Schaefer, Jr.

She was a graduate 1979 of Grove City High School. After high school, Roxie began working as a caregiver taking care of her aunt and uncle in Sewickley for 11 years until their deaths. At that time, she returned to the local area and began her career in retail working for Hot Sam's, Shenago Valley Mall, Kmart of Hermitage, and Rite Aid, Mercer.

For the past 10 years she was employed by Parkhurst Dining at Map Dining Hall, Grove City College, where she was in hospitality support. She dearly loved her job, the students, and her co-workers.

Roxie loved teddy bears, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.

Roxie is survived by her five siblings, Dee Coulter; Philip W. Schaefer III; Barb (Christopher) Manbeck; David (Melissa) Schaefer; and Ivan Schaefer; and an aunt, Margaret (John) Berger; and her uncle Rick (Marsha) Schaefer. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family member also survive.

Her parents preceded her in death.
