Ronald J. Hanak, of Burghill, passed away Jan. 20, 2025, following a brief illness. He was 80.
Ronald was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Sharo, to Andrew and Amelia "Molly" (Robsel) Hanak.
He graduated from Sharon High School in 1963 and honorably served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for General Motors Corp., Lordstown.
Ron was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sharon, and Shenango Valley Corvette Club.
Survivors include: his high school sweetheart and bride, Carol Anne (Williams) Hanak; son, Erik J. Hanak (Michele); step-granddaughter, Brittany Svirbely; step-great-granddaughter, Scarlett Priester; and brother, Robert M. Hanak (Barb).
