Mr. Rodney Charles Reed, 87, of Greenville, passed away Sunday evening, March 2, 2025, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 3, 1938, in Clarion, a son of the late Alva Gerald and Martha (McCracken) Reed.

Together, they had one son, Ronald; and two stepchildren, Tracey (Kincaid) Hostetler and Edward Kincaid.

In the early 1970s, Rodney and his family left Sharon and bought a new house in Greenville, where he lived for the rest of his life.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Virginia; son, Ronald; stepdaughter, Tracey (Bill) Hostetler; stepson, Edward Kincaid; brother, Gerald Reed; sister, Alma (Reed) Ehrhart; six grandchildren, Olivia (McElhinny) Brown, Samantha (McElhinny) Faloney, Heather (Kincaid) Moore, Tyler Kincaid, Brady Kincaid and Casey Kincaid; and four great-grandchildren, Madilynn Brown, Rozalynn Faloney, Harper Faloney and Ariana Kincaid.
