Masury - Robert Durkos, 80, of Masury, Ohio, passed away April 23, 2026.

Robert was born April 8, 1946, in Sharon, a son to Joseph and Julia Mary (Rocco) Durkos.

He labored in the local mills. National Castings, Ivor J. Lee, and Trinity

Industries were the most notable before he retired.

In his younger days, between 1972 & 1977, Bob was a professional wrestler

who wrestled under Vince McMahon, Sr., Bruno Sammartino, and Johnny Powers.

Survivors include: his brother, Joseph F. Durkos, Hubbard, Ohio; and Joe's

children, John Durkos (Bernadette), of Stow, Ohio, Yvonne Gahagan (James),

of Vienna, Ohio, and Frank Durkos (Kimberley), of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Ellen Hoff-Durkos, whom

he married in 2001, she passed on December 4, 2025.

In accordance with his wishes, no services were held.

He was laid to rest with his wife Ellen in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
