Robert Ernest Boitnott Obituary

New Wilmington, Pa. - Robert Ernest Boitnott, Bend Road, New Wilmington, passed away peacefully Dec. 7, 2025, in West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a long battle with cancer. He was 64.

Born Dec. 11, 1960, in Sharon, he was the son of the late Robert and Norma (Book) Boitnott.

Robert married his beloved wife, Robin Carlson, April 2, 1982. He later retired from Arnold L. Barris Trucking, where he proudly ended his trucking career, and to all who knew him, he will always KEEP ON TRUCKIN' — 10-4.

Robert is survived by his wife, Robin, at home; his son, Travis (Rebecca) Boitnott, Hermitage; and three sisters, Rebecca Bowers (Mark), Elizabeth Boitnott, and Caroline Pears (Jack). He also leaves behind loving nieces and nephews, a very special granddaughter, Hannah Alexis Boitnott, who completed his family, and his favorite four-legged granddaughter, Annie Girl, who loved to take naps with him.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday (1-10-26) for a celebration of Life at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1857 Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Mercer, with Rev. James Moose, officiating.
