Robert  Bobanick
Robert J. Bobanick, 84, of Mercer, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence at 12:45 a.m. Friday (Nov. 15, 2019).
Robert was born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 5, 1935, to John Bobanick and Marie Polivka.
He was a graduate of Mercer High School in 1954, an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean Conflict, and a member of Saint John's Orthodox Church, Sharon.
He married Janice "Jan" Sebring on June 9, 1957.
Mr. Bobanick was a millwright at Sawhill Tubular Products for 35 years.
Robert was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Robert is survived by: his wife at the residence; a daughter, Debbie Moon, wife of John Moon, of Mercer; a brother, Russell S. Bobanick and his wife, Dorothy, of Mercer; two grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Moon; a sister-in-law, Gail, wife of Kirby Commer of Wichita, Kan.; and close family friends, Jim and Coreita Noble of Mercer.
Mr. Bobanick was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean A. Fisher.

Debbie, although I only knew him through stories you shared, I know you dearly loved him. It’s hard, but look to the God of all comfort who will keep you in perfect peace.
