Sharpsville - Rita M. Schultz, of Sharpsville, 97, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025.

Rita was born Feb. 24, 1928, to Rose (Hoffer) and Brooks Blake in

Zanesville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Zanesville High School. In October

1948 Rita married her late husband, James J. Schultz who passed away

November 1987. Rita worked over 30 years in the Sharpsville Area School

District as a cafeteria worker.

Rita is survived by her grandchildren, D. Brian Schultz (Samantha); Kaline

Schultz (Tom Adams); Theresa Naranjo; great-grandchildren, Phoebe; Logan;

Aurora; Adelynn; and Everleigh; daughter-in-law, Carol Karol; brother,

William (Sharon) Blake; nieces, Carol Murrin (William); and Sherrie

Dixon; and nephew, Michael (Andrea) Blake. Also surviving are many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, James J. Schultz;

and David B. Schultz.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St.

Paul's Villas in Springs for their care and also to Rita's special

caregiver, Carol Murrin.

Veterans 1000 Liberty Ave., Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222.

Visitation: Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (5-13-25) at DONALDSON-MOHNEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 124 W. Main St., Sharpsville.

Services:1 p.m. immediately following visitation in the funeral home.

Burial: Westside Cemetery, Sharpsville.
