Grove City, Pa - Richard R. "Dick" Spencer, 95, a lifetime resident of Grove City, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Quality Life Services, Grove City.
Dick was born in Grove City on April 14, 1930, to John Floyd and Hilda Louise (Williams) Spencer.
He married Nancy L. Dickson on Feb. 27, 1960. She preceded him in death on Jan. 1, 2016.
Dick was a longtime and active member at Grace United Methodist Church.
He graduated from Grove City High School in 1948 and from the New Castle School of Business.
During the Korean War, he served in the Army and was stationed in Germany and Italy
Dick retired from J.C. Penney Co. in Grove City, where he worked for many years.
During his retirement he worked as a custodian at Grace Church and provided lawn care services for individuals.
He is survived by a daughter, Laura B. Spencer, Philadelphia; a sister, Bonna Lytle, Grove City; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife; four sisters, Mildred Ash, Betty Hancox, Patricia "Patty" Moon and Pearl Mathieson; and four brothers, Robert D., Kenneth, Jack W. and Glenn Spencer.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday (5-29-25) at the funeral home with Rev. Willard Morse officiating.
Burial: Crestview Memorial Park.
