Richard M. Maykowski, 70, formerly of Farrell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, as he completed his life journey while residing at St. Paul's in Greenville.
Born in Sharon on Dec. 13, 1947, Richard was the son of the late Marian and Mary Kuzniar Maykowski.
Richard was a graduate of Farrell High School and Penn State University. He spent most of his life in the industrial field as an occupational safety consultant.
He was an avid train and railroad enthusiast.
Richard is survived by his niece, Marianne (Maykowski) Steklachick of Beaver Falls; nephew, Stephen Maykowski of Columbus, Miss.; sister-in-law, Barbara A. (Myers) Maykowski of Columbus, Miss.; his aunt, Helen Kuzniar of Hermitage; and several cousins.
Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Sr. Patricia Ann Maykowski, and a brother, Edward Maykowski.

Service: A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Tuesday (4-17-18) at Our Lady of Fatima Church by Fr. Matthew Ruyechan.
Interment will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery.
