North Canton, Ohio - Phyllis J. Ryser, North Canton, Ohio, formerly of West Middlesex, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at home. She was 87.

Phyllis was born June 24, 1938, in Sharon, a daughter of Charles and Gertrude Kloss Troutman.

She was a 1956 graduate of Hickory High School.

Phyllis loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

For many years, Phyllis was a cake decorator at Riverside Market in Brookfield, Ohio.

Her husband, Francis C. Ryser, whom she married Jan. 19, 1957, passed away Feb. 5, 2016.

She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Patricia A. (Robert) Kuntzman, North Canton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Stacy (Jeremy) Gaggini, Christina (Chad) Bahl, Nicole (Alex) Ridzi and six great-grandchildren.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Deborah Wittenauer; and brother, Charles Troutman.
