Phyllis M. Parkinson
Phyllis M. Parkinson, 63, of Masury, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 15, 2020) in O'Brien Memorial Care Center, Masury, after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Sharon, a daughter of Leonard Bastide and Phyllis (Quinn) Bastide.
Phyllis graduated in 1975 from Hickory High School.
She was employed by Sharon Country Club and Dominico's as a server and host.
Phyllis was a charter member of New Live Baptist Church, New Wilmington.
She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, playing euchre and push rummy, going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed spring time with her granddaughter.
Phyllis is survived by: her husband, Dennis W. Parkinson, of Mercer, whom she married July 1, 1975; a daughter, Kristina Dagres of Pulaski and her husband, Andrew, of Hermitage; a granddaughter, McKenna Dagres; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; four sisters, Donna Bastide, Darlene Hilderbran, Jennie Brockway and Janet Esmond; and a brother, Leo Bastide.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (1-21-20) in JOHN FLYNN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 2630 E. State St., Hermitage. Friends may sign the guestbook at
Funeral: 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Timothy Fair officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.
