Sharon, Pennsylvania - Phyllis Jean Korab, 89, of Sharon, passed on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Phyllis was born on Oct. 10, 1935, in Sharon, to Walter Kacerski and Marcella (Sikorski) Kacerski.
She attended Sharon High School. Following school, she married Walter Korab Jr. on June 17, 1961.
She was a proud homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
She enjoyed word search puzzles and game shows. Above everything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet (Mark) Groenendaal of Mercer; two grandsons, Clayton Groenendaal of Mercer; and Austin (Hayleigh) Groenendaal of Hubbard, Ohio; and brother, Raymond Kacerski of Jupiter, Fla.
She is preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Linda and Renee; and two sisters, Irene Niemec and Delores Amoroso.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Funeral service: 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday (6-5-25) at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Farrell. Father John Miller will officiate.
Interment: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
