Mercer, PA - Paulette "Polly" Hassell, 73, of McMillan Road, Mercer, passed away Jan. 5, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on June 30, 1955, in New Castle to the late Donald and Pauline Gregory Martin.

Polly was a graduate of Wilmington High School and enjoyed her employment at the McGoffin Inn of Mercer, also selling Tupperware and Avon.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Hassell, of the residence; two daughters, Jamie (Michael) Kerr of Grove City, and Julie Hassell of Mercer; one grandson, Dawson Kerr; one brother, Donald (Sherry) Martin of Smethport; and two sisters, Barbara (Terry) Sander and Dianne (Brian) Fulkman, both of New Bedford.

Polly is preceded in death by an infant son; one sister, Margaret New; and two brothers, Timothy and Arthur Martin.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Friday (1-9-26) at the funeral home, with Rev. Matthew Bupp officiating.

Interment: Findley Cemetery, Mercer, following the service.
