Shenango Township - Paul Dean Grove, Sharon-Bedford Road, Shenango Township, passed away in St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana, Ohio, Aug. 16, 2025. He was 87.

Born in St. Petersburg, Pa., Butler County, he was the son of Jacob Grove and Anna Marie Altmyer. Following the death of his father, Paul was raised by his mother and stepfather, Joseph William Grove.

He was an active member of the Coroner House Christian Church of Hubbard. Paul was an owner operator long distance truck driver and, following his retirement, he worked as a transportation supervisor at West Middlesex School. Paul had also worked for Toys R Us.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Avis Mathews Grove, include three sons, Joseph W. Grove, North Lima, Ohio; Andrew P. Grove, Hubbard, Ohio; and David M. Grove, Glassport, Pa. Four grandchildren complete the family.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ida Catherine Callihan, two brothers, James and Andrew Grove, and four sisters, Alice, Marie, Hazel and Loretta.
