Paul K. Adams Obituary

Paul K. Adams, 87, of Mercer, passed on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Paul was born on March 30, 1938, in Rimersburg to the late Ernest Delton Adams and Rose Mae Bobbert Adams.

He married Candace Arlene "Candi" Heasley on Dec. 23, 1967, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 2016.

Paul attended New Wilmington High School. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Kenworth in Youngstown, Ohio, Volvo, and Adams Truck Service in West Middlesex. Paul enjoyed woodworking, and working on cars, tractors and lawn mowers. He was proud of building a '23 T-Bucket Roadster from scratch.

Survivors include daughter, Terri (Randy) Patterson, Mercer; sons, Michael Adams, Mercer, and John Adams, Madison, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Adams, Mercer; seven grandchildren, Chistopher, Ashley, Kenneth, Aaron, Caitlin, Elizabeth and Lauren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Deanna (Jerry) Opp, Bluff City, Tenn.

In addition to his parents and wife, Paul is preceded in death by son, Jason Adams, Mercer, and granddaughter, Michelle Rae Drivere.

Services: Aprivate Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Interment: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Plain Grove.
