Hermitage, Pa. - Patrick A. Bacon, Hermitage, passed away May 29, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was 62.

He was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Sharon, a son to Marie Bacon (Kurelko) and John Bacon.

Patrick married Cheryl Bacon (Bottenfield) June 23, 1984. They were high school sweethearts, won cutest couple for senior superlatives, and spent a wonderful 46 years together.

He attended Kennedy Catholic High School freshman year and Sharon High School for the rest of his high school career. He played sports, such as basketball, baseball, and football. He also participated in the Hoyle tournaments and played in the Punch McDowell Golf Memorial Cup tournaments.

He worked at West and Barker Inc. for over 20 years as a shipping and receiving manager. He then worked at The Primary Health Network in maintenance and also as a transportation coordinator.

Patrick enjoyed fishing, golfing with his father and brothers, family Steeler parties, Billy's Black and Gold, and family vacations to Sandbridge Beach, Va. He always took his daughters golfing growing up, along with attending all of their activities, such as dance, gymnastics, softball and basketball. He coached both his daughters in softball and went on to coach his grandsons in baseball. He enjoyed attending all of his grandsons' sporting events, such as baseball, basketball, football, and soccer games. He also enjoyed watching his granddaughter in gymnastics and swimming lessons.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Marie; his wife, Cheryl; two daughters, Alyssa (Brice) Long, Kayla (Tyler Luchey) Bacon; three brothers, John Bacon Jr., David Bacon and Thomas Bacon; four sisters, Cheryl (Gary) Gonzales, Linda (Ed) Palestro, Bonnie (Rick) Dickson and Sharon Harakal; two grandsons, Dylan Hershberger and Logan Long; granddaughter, Lyla Luchey; Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, John Bacon; nephews, Brian Yesko and Aaron Bacon; and niece, Trista Harakal.
