Mary Ann Stiggi, 85, North Sewickley Township, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
Born in Sharon June 2, 1936, Mary Ann was the daughter of John W. and Mary Shuster Mihalcin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Stiggi Dec. 31, 1989.
Mary Ann was a registered nurse. She graduated the Jameson Hospital School of Nursing and began her career at Providence Hospital in Beaver Falls. She later worked as an industrial nurse at Townsend Industries and retired from the Red Cross in Beaver.
Mary Ann enjoyed playing bingo but most loved her time with her grandchildren at the beach.
Mary Ann is survived by her four children, A. Mark Stiggi, North Sewickley Township; Gerianne Mazzant, Fort Myers, Fla.; Mary Beth Nocera, Ellwood City; and Terri (Daniel) Mazzant, Ellwood City; a brother, Bernard (Patricia) Mihalcin, Monroeville; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Robert and John Mihalcin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
