x - Mary Naomi Reno, 90, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, while holding her daughter's hand and listening to Amazing Grace.
Naomi graduated from Youngstown State University, Dana School of Music in 1957.
She shared her passion for teaching music to the students at the Mercer Elementary School for 32 years.
She married Walter Lewis Reno on July 3, 1958. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.
She attended annual trips with Walter to the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, N.Y., where she met many famous boxers including Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday (6-7-25) at the Hickory Global Methodist Church, Hermitage.
