Marlyne L. Callahan, 86, of Brookfield, Ohio, passed from this life late Saturday night, Nov. 16, 2024, while a resident at Heritage Manor, Youngstown, Ohio, following a period of declining health.

Marlyne was born on Nov. 27, 1937, in Stronghurst, Ill., a daughter to Ivan J. and Huldah H. (Watson) Leinbach.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1956 and was a proud homemaker for her family.

In addition, she was a Hallmark ambassador to various local grocery and retail outlets.

Marlyne was a member of the Bethel Life Church, Hermitage, where she was previously active as both a Sunday school teacher and a worship leader.

In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and baking.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Lynne) Callahan; Debra (Mark) Evans; and Lisa Deiger; grandchildren, Alexander (Emma) Evans, Kaitlyn (Scott) Green and Michael Callahan II; five step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, James A. Leinbach and Janice Marie Berecek.

Burial: Brookfield Township Cemetery.
