Sharpsville, PA - Lynne A. Fitzgerald, 75, of Sharpsville, formerly of Sharon, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in her home.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on Oct. 23, 1950, in Mercer County, a daughter of the late Bennett and Louise (Pugsley) Stubbs.

She was a 1969 graduate of Grove City High School.

She married her husband, Dennis "Pete" Fitzgerald, on July 27, 1971. He survives at home.

Lynne was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.

A devoted homemaker, she was also an active volunteer in local 12-step programs.

Lynne had a passion for needlepoint, making more than 300 pieces, giving many away as gifts or inspiration to others.

Additionally, she wrote letters of inspiration to people all over the world.

Lynne was also an avid reader, typically reading two or three books a week.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Shannon Fitzgerald, of Florida; and a grandcat, Julianna.

In addition to her parents, Lynne was preceded in death by an infant sister, Susan Stubbs.
