Louella Switzer ("Peg'' or "Babe'') Obituary

Mercer - Louella "Peg or Babe" Switzer, of Mercer, passed away at Quality Life Services, Grove City, on May 9, 2025. She was 90 years old.

Born in Williamsburg, Clarion County, to the late Ralph and Alice Lewis Walker. She married Harry L. Switzer, Sept. 10, 1953, and he preceded her in death June 24, 2001.

She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church of New Wilmington.

She loved bargain hunting, reading, gardening and bird watching.

Survivors include four children, Lorri Schneider of Mercer; and Mark L. (Lynne) Switzer of Stoneboro; Eric J. (Laura) Switzer; and Erin (Thomas) Stelter both of Mercer, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren complete the family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louella is preceded in death by one sister Ann Neal; and one brother, Amos Walker; and a son-in-law, George Schneider.


Visitation: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, (5-13-25) at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex.

Internment: Reidsburg Cemetery, Reidsburg, Clarion County.
