Greenville, Pennsylvania - Loretta D. Smith, 79, formerly of Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 12, 2025.
She was born in Greenville on Oct. 6, 1946, to James and Margaret (Dell) Reagle.
Loretta graduated from Lakeview High School in 1964 and attended Penn State University Shenango. She was a lifelong homemaker.
Loretta was a member of Greenville Area Preservation Association (GAPA). She enjoyed crocheting, playing Scrabble with her son, watching birds, painting and spending time with her family and her cat.
On Oct. 3, 1973, she married Jack Fred Smith Jr. He passed away July 22, 2004.
Loretta is survived by her daughter, April (Chuck) Johnston, Jamestown; two sons, Raymond (Chris) Hanna, Fredonia and Fred (Therese) Smith, West Middlesex; two sisters, Diane Martin and Carol Thomas; two brothers, Ed Reagle and Ray Reagle; and two grandchildren, Jacquelyn Smith and Troy Dunkle.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Smith.

Services: 6 p.m. Friday (11-14-25) at Hillside Presbyterian Church, 2 N. High St., Greenville, with Rev. Sean Hall, pastor of the Church, officiating.
