Stoneboro, Pennsylvania - Malinda Marie "Lindy" (Friedl) Abrams, 48, and her children, Amelia Frances "Millie" Abrams, 16, and Leroy Oliver Paul Abrams, 12, of Stoneboro, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, as the result of a house fire.

Lindy was born on July 5, 1977, in Parma, Ohio, to Daniel and Frances (Morrison) Friedl. She was a 1996 graduate of Commodore Perry High School.

On Oct. 25, 2007, she married her husband, Aric Abrams, with whom she built a loving home and raised four children.

Lindy dedicated her life to caring for others, both as a devoted mother to her rambunctious family and through her work as a home health care assistant. In her younger years, she also worked at the family ice cream business in Stoneboro, where she formed many lasting friendships.

Amelia "Millie" Abrams was born May 5, 2009, and Leroy Abrams was born Aug. 6, 2013, in Grove City and Sharon respectively.

They were baptized and were members of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and attended school in the Lakeview School District.

Millie was known for her kind heart and close relationships; she will be deeply missed by her boyfriend, Caden Hayes, and by Andrea Deyoung, who held a special place in her life.

Known for his boundless energy, Leroy was rarely still and brought enthusiasm to everything he did.

Millie and Leroy were known for their bright spirits and close bond, bringing joy and light to all who knew them.

Lindy is survived by her loving husband, Aric Abrams; and children, Jade Abrams and Aaron Abrams; her aunt, Carol McCullough and her family of Clarks Mills, who raised Lindy from a young age; her grandmother, Dorothy Young of Clarks Mills; two sisters, Anne Moore and Abbie Friedl, both of Ohio; and six brothers, Daniel Friedl Jr. of Mercer, Brian Friedl and his wife Crystal of Greenville, Michael Friedl of Jackson Center, Adam McCullough of Mercer, Jeremy McCullough of Clarks Mills, and Eric McCullough of South Carolina. She is also survived by five nieces, Samantha Friedl, Alexis Friedl, Serenity Friedl, Katrina McCullough, and Kennedy Moore; and one nephew, Brian Friedl, Jr. and his fiancée Amber Flanigan of Clarks Mills, and her father-in-law Jeff Abrams of Grove City.

They were preceded in death by Eris Cerin Abrams, Melissa (Friedl) Shipley, Carol Anne Johnson; Earl, Terri, and Dolores Morrison; Frances Elder; David, Raymond, and Genevieve McCullough; and Ann and Nick Friedl.

Lindy, Millie, and Leroy will be remembered for the love they shared as a family and the laughter they brought to those around them. Their memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.

Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
