Linda R. Jones Obituary

Linda R. Jones, 75, of Vienna, passed away Wednesday night, Dec. 16, 2020, at the Sharon Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 29, 1944, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Blair Sherwood and Clara Reeves Sherwood Fitzsimmons. She was also raised by her step-father, Cecil Fitzsimmons.

Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Linda was a self-employed hair dresser. She had also worked at Valley View in Brookfield in the domestics department.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, watching birds, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and playing cards with her friends.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald Jones, whom she married Dec. 4, 1965; two daughters, Sharon (Scott) Zimmerman of Haymarket, Va., and Kari (Tim) Filipovich of Brookfield; three grandchildren, Tyler Zimmerman and Chad and Connor Filipovich; two sisters, Sondra (James) Bates of Cortland and Arlene Fitzsimmons Pratt and her husband, Tony, of Blairsville, Pa.; and a brother, Blair "Woody" (Emily) Sherwood of Gulfport, Miss.

Interment: Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
