Sharpsville - Linda G. Cidila, Sharpsville, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, in Sharon Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was 73.
Linda was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Sharon, a daughter of Samuel and Eleanor (Weaver) Runyan.
She married Robert L. Cidila Sr. June 14, 1969, who survives.
She loved her family and spending time with them.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time reading, knitting, and crocheting. She had a soft spot for animals, particularly horses. Linda was a member of the Sharpsville Nazarene Church, where, over the years, she taught in the ladies' ministry, assisted with Sunday school, and served as secretary and treasurer.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years; their children, Christina Hoffman and husband Jeff, Fredonia; Connie Cidila, Sharon, and Catherine Cidila and partner Stephenie, Sharpsville; a sister, Tracey Prezioso and husband Rodney, Hermitage; a brother, James Schultz and wife Dawn, New York; six grandchildren, Nickolas Herald, Robert Cidila III, Domenic Cidila, Emma Leanna Cidila, Ashley Bobak and Veronia Sterba; and four great-grandchildren, Xavier Verrill, Cai Sterba, Teo Sterba and Ryu Sterba.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert Cidila Jr., a sister, Darlene Lyons, and a brother, Samuel Runyan.
