Lillian G. Shirley, 88, of Sharon, passed away on Monday Oct. 28, 2024, in her residence.
She was born in Sharon on March 18, 1936, to Charles and Mable (Hunter) Hinkle and graduated in 1954 from Hickory High School.
Lillian was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She had worked for the Sharon Hardware Store and been the cook at several restaurants, including Nancy Cozy Café. She enjoyed ceramic painting, flea marketing, camping, playing bingo and traveling to the western states.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Shirley) Shirley Jr. of Arizona, Debby Yoho of Sharon, and Terry (Tami) Shirley of Sharpsville; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Charles Shirley, and by brothers Robert, Cecil, Dale and Donald Hinkle.
