Grove City, Pennsylvania - Lawrence E. Bubeck Sr., 76, of Grove City, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, following a one-year illness.

Lawrence was born in Grove City on March 16, 1949, to Karl A. and Mary V. (McCracken) Bubeck. He married Kathy Koi O'Brien on Dec. 15, 1990.

He was a 1967 graduate of Grove City High School, and he served in the US Coast Guard from 1969 to 1973.

Lawrence was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a 50-year-plus member of the Grove City F. and A.M. Lodge 603, New Castle Consistory, Grove City Highland Band, Grove City Volunteer Fire Department and he was a 50-year member of the American Legion Post 220.

Lawrence enjoyed spending time at his family camp, hunting, fishing and playing the bagpipes.

His family who loved him are his wife, Kathy at home; his daughters, Stefanie (Shawn) Montgomery, Carrie (Paul) Sankey; his sons, Lawrence (Sabrina) Bubeck and Steven (Morgan) O'Brien; his grandchildren, Morgan Seivers, Kaleigh (Eben) Swart, Gabriella Bubeck, Mason Sankey, Leila Bubeck, Alida O'Brien, Shane Montgomery, Ellis, Josephine and Steven O'Brien; his first great-grandchild Scarlett Swart; his sister, Karla (John) McCoy; a brother, Mike (Judy) Bubeck; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Merle A. Bubeck.
