Hermitage, PA - Larry J. "Jim" Minteer, 66, of Hermitage, passed away May 23, 2025, at UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.
Born June 10, 1958, in Grove City, he was the son of Edward I. and Mary Ann (Wilson) Minteer.
He was preceded in death on May 23, 2005, by his wife, Betty J. (Baxter) Minteer, whom he married Sept. 22, 1978.
Jim attended the New Castle School of Trades, where he received his electrician certification. After his service in the Navy, he joined the Dairy Union 846, Transfer, where he was a certified herdsman and farmed for 28 years with Shadow Lawn Dairy.
Jim is survived by one daughter, Karrie Fuller of New Castle; one son, James Calvin (Casey) Minteer of Struthers, Ohio; one stepson, David (Mindy) Leasure of New Castle; three brothers, Terry Minteer of Jackson Center, Jeffery Minteer of Hermitage, and Michael Minteer of Brookfield, Ohio; two sisters, Bonnie Minteer of Sharon and Sandra Flick of Clarion; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, William Fuller.
