With a heavy heart our Keith Alan Klingensmith, 67, of Hubbard, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his love ones on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Keith was born Feb. 17, 1957, in Sharon, a son of William J. and Coila "Joanne" Shearer Klingensmith.

He was a 1976 graduate of West Middlesex High School and was on the wrestling team.

Keith was a tool and die maker for 40 years at West & Barker of Niles, Ohio, retiring in 2023.

Keith was a jack of all trades and loved working in his wood shop. He also enjoyed cooking and especially loved to tell jokes to anyone who would listen.

He was an amazing husband, father, and friend.

Keith will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family: his wife, the former Claudeen Krupa, whom he married Oct. 16, 2004; his sons, Shaun C. Klingensmith (Sarah Perry) of Columbus, Ohio, and Matthew A. (Bianca) Klingensmith of Denver, Colo.; his beloved dog, Freyja, and grand-dog, Cooper.

He also leaves his siblings, Cynthia (Robert) Glancy of Leland, N.C., Kirk D. (Dianna) Klingensmith of Youngstown, Ohio, Kimberly K. Smith of Wheatland; his sister-in-law, Carla Klingensmith, of Strattanville, Pa.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin W. Klingensmith, Gary L. Klingensmith, and William R. Klingensmith.

Special thanks to his sister-in-law, Victoria Sattazahn, brother-in-law, Henry Krupa, and good friend, Wayne Lawn, for all their help and support.
