On Sept. 26, 2024, Judith A. Moore, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away at the age of 79.
She is now happily reunited with her dad, mom and sister and oh, what a celebration that will be.
She was born in Greenville May 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Madeline (Keene) Powell.
She was a graduate of the class of 1963 from Reynolds High School in Reynolds, Pa., where she was a majorette and later worked in the office.
She enjoyed gardening watching Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State football, NASCAR racing and traveling to Nashville, Tenn.
Her best stories came from her Nashville trips like the day she saw Waylon Jennings during Fan Fair and she waved at him and he waved back. Or when she sang with Trisha Yearwood. Or when she met Charlie Pride. The best times for her was getting on the bus and hitting the road for a new adventure.
She is survived by her son, James Moore and daughter, Sherry Moore, her granddaughter, Alissa (Angel) Juarez, grandson, Anthony Moore and her great-granddaughter, Penelope Juarez and great-grandson, Angel Juarez. And her grand fur-babies.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs, AR 72632.
