Farrell, PA - Joseph P. Hoza, 72, of Farrell, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 9, 2025.

He was born Jan. 25, 1953, in Grove City to the late Joseph W. and Sophie A. Hoza.

He graduated from Kennedy Christian High School in 1971 and Edinboro State College in 1975.

Joe worked in retail, security and for non-profits over the years.

Joe enjoyed shopping, taking long walks and cooking and baking. He liked watching cooking shows on TV and eagerly tried out new recipes.

He also enjoyed spending holidays and special events with family.

Christmas was his favorite holiday, and he always looked forward to decorating his house and celebrating the beauty of the season.

Joe is survived by his three sisters, Nancy Hoza in Hermitage; Mary Louise Hoza in Dayton, Ohio; and Joanne (Ed) Susinko in Jefferson, Md.; a niece, Michelle Susinko in Florida; and nephews, Matthew Susinko in West Virginia; and Mark (Aerin) Susinko and family in West Virginia.
