Joseph Dagres Sr., 71, Kinsman, Ohio, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2023, at UPMC Greenville hospital emergency room..

He was born April 11, 1951, in New Castle, the son of James Dagres Sr. and Edna Mae Minner Dagres.

Joseph was a truck driver. He had driven for Preston, Metropolitan, New Century and JNB Transport.

He married Lyda Parola on July 24, 1982. She preceded him in death Sept. 30, 2012.

He is survived by a daughter, Michele (John) Hruska, Stow; four sons, Joseph Dagres Jr. and James Dagres, both Grove City; Gary (Whitney) Dagres, Cleveland; and Josh (Mandy) Dagres, Hermitage; four grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Brandon and Clark; multiple great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Don) Shirley, Kingman, Ariz.; and three brothers, James (Karen) Dagres, Kingman, Ariz.; Bob (Kathy) Dagres, New Castle; and Bill (Kathy) Dagres, Kingman, Ariz.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Dagres; and a son, Lance Cpl. Michael Dagres.

Calling hours: Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday (3-11-23) in GALLOWAY-ONSTOTT FUNERAL HOME, 3451 State Route 7, Hartford, Ohio.

Service: 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
