Joseph T. Balogh Obituary

Joseph T. Balogh, Masury, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 2, 2025, the Hospice House in Poland. He was 81.

Joseph was born April 10, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of his late mother, Stephanie Barwick and stepfather, Phillip Roumnn.

He was a graduate of North High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was an operating engineer and a precision crane operator for Local 66.

In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. He also enjoyed watching western movies and reading western novels.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Helen Balogh; children, Glenn Balogh and Cindy (Michael) Rudinsky; and grandson, Noah Balogh.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Roumm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to the Hospice of the Valley — Hospice House, 9800 Sharrott Road, Youngstown, OH 44514.
