John "Gus" Jose Jr., of Dunbar, Pa., passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Quality of Life Services of Mercer. He was 79.
He was born in Uniontown, Pa. on July 4, 1940, a son of the late John Russell and Marie (Smitley) Jose.
He had enlisted and served proudly with the U.S. Army.
He had been employed by National Castings, Sharon, and at the Nittany Coatings, Greenville.
Gus is survived by two nieces, Pamela Parcetich and her husband Carl, Fredonia, and Dawn Crews, State College.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brothe,r Dewey "Max" Jose.
