Hermitage, PA - John J. Buczek, 87, of Hermitage, Pa., passed away the morning of Oct. 27, 2025, at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation.

John was born April 7, 1938, in New Castle. He is the son of the late Joseph and Wanda (Nastal) Buczek.

He was married to the former Jean D. Preisnar. They were married for 54 years. John was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1957.

Mr. Buczek retired after many years of service at Greenville Metal Litho as a pressman.

John will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Jean, John is survived by his daughter, Michelle L. (Jason) Stevens of Cranberry Township, Pa.; sisters, Wanda Burick of New Castle, Pa., Mary Jean Fork of Dania Beach, Fla., Geraldine (Casey) Morrone of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; brother, Phil (Cathy) Buczek, Charlestown, R.I.; two grandchildren, Chloe and Addison Stevens; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Buczek was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Friday (10-31-25) at NOGA FUNERAL HOME, 1142 Mill St., New Castle.

Procession: Will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. for Holy Spirit Parish-St. Vitus site. Rev. Ben Barr, pastor of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate.

Rite of Committal and burial: SS Philip and James Cemetery.
