New Castle, Pennsylvania - Jeffrey L. Hardy Sr., 67, of New Castle, passed away at his home the night of Nov. 14, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Born July 14, 1957, in New Castle, Pa., he was the son of William Frank Hardy Sr. and Sarah M. (Curry) Hardy.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Jill (McKim) Hardy, whom he married Dec. 11, 1976.
Jeff received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Penn State and was retired from NLMK Pennsylvania.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. Most important to him was spending time with his family. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, father and Papa.
He attended Victory Christian Center.
In addition to his wife, Jill, he is survived by three daughters, Jessica (Brian) Tekac of Bowling Green, Ky., Jocelyn (Jesse) Bryson of Pulaski, Pa., and Jennifer Hardy of New Castle; one son, Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Hardy Jr. of New Castle; one brother, Larry Hardy; four sisters, Mary Beth (Larry) Weis, Frances Rogers, Sue (Brian) Izzo and Marsha (John) Park; and eight grandchildren, Brandon, Lexie, Abby, Julia, Ben, Jaelynn, Noelle and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William F. Hardy Jr.; and two sisters, Cheryl Tremmel and Earla Hardy.
