West Middlesex, PA - Janet L. Swartz Thompson, 87, of Stoner Drive, West Middlesex, passed away on April 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1937, in Sharon to the late William Ross Swartz and Nora Hannah Maner.

She married Cramer Joe Thompson, who preceded her in death, Dec. 2, 1972.

Janet was a graduate of West Middlesex High School and Youngstown University.

She was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and was a member of the West Middlesex Bowling League.

She loved to dance, was a crafter, enjoyed decorating her home, and looked forward to all holidays, but most important was her family.

Survivors include one daughter, Renee (Pat) Cunningham of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; three sons, Rick Thompson of Mercer; and Tracy (Carrie) Thompson and Fielder W. Thompson, both of West Middlesex; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Mercer, PA, 16137.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday (4-21-25) at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex, and 10 a.m. to the time of service Tuesday (4-22-25) at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Rev. August Hurst will officiate.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
