Jane Ellen "Pete" Payton, 57, of Masury, Ohio, was tragically taken by unhallowed hands Friday, Dec. 20, 2024.

Jane was born Sept. 24, 1967, in Sharon, a daughter to John R. Donner and Susan G. (Hollerman) Donner-McAndrew.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1986 and had worked at Reynold Services Inc., in Greenville, as an accounts-payable clerk.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sharon, and an auxiliary member of the Sharon American Legion, as well as the Sharon and Hickory VFWs.

In her spare time, "Pete" enjoyed playing games on her phone, reading, gardening, and tending to her chickens. In addition, she loved being around her cat, Roseann, and dog, Jackson.

Mourning her loss are her sons, Nicholas Payton, of Masury; and Nathan (Jessica) Payton, of Austintown, Ohio; granddaughter, Maddison C. Payton; siblings, Deb (Will) Rowe, of Masury; John (Wendy) Donner, of Hermitage; Susan (Jay) Honel, of Brookfield, Ohio; and David Donner (Dana Doll), of Clarksville, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and her fur kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and step-father, Harry McAndrew.
